With the holidays officially here, it's a good time to revamp your burlesque act with a holiday theme or even do a holiday inspired boudoir shoot. But you know as well as I do that this time of year is expensive, so you don't want to have to spend too much extra money just to get into the spirit. That's why I've come up with some ideas for you to get the most out of your current pieces as well as some small accessories you can include to change up your look.

You can always get very specific holiday inspired lingerie at Adam & Eve or your favorite adult store, but if you don't want to spend money, you can get into the spirit by pairing together some of your existing wears. Pull out a red bra or corset and pair it with either red, black or white panties. The color pairings will automatically have a holiday feel. Want to be even more memorable? Ditch the bra or corset and wrap yourself in ribbon like a present instead or get some red sparkly pasties. Don't have any? You can make them! Check out the tutorial here.

Be sure to pair this look with some sexy thigh highs, but instead of going with the standard, find an older pair that you don't modifying. You know those cute "Santa" inspired stockings with the bows? No need to spend money on them when you can make them yourself. Pick up some faux white fur, ribbon and hot glue at the craft store. Cut the faux fur to fit the tops of your thigh highs, then glue them to the top and adorn them with bows made out of the ribbons. Bam! Same look with a $5 refresh. You can do the same look with some white, red or black gloves that you already own.

When it comes to make up and hair, be sure to give yourself the big hollywood curls and a fresh snow-kissed look. Go with rosy cheeks, a pink lip and glittery eyes that make you look like a snow queen. Don't forget the falsies.

Finally, don't be afraid to play up your show or shoot with some fun festive props like christmas lights, a Santa hat, mistletoe, a fireplace, stockings and even fake snow and then bring it all home with a sexy rendition of Baby it's Cold Outside.

Are you planning on doing something festive this year? What are you doing to make it special?
